Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city by far and is the commercial hub of the nation. Located on a beautiful harbor, with a temperate climate, Auckland has a population so diverse that it is often ranked among the ten most multicultural and diverse cities in the world. Fun fact - more Pacific Islanders live in Auckland than in any other one place in the Pacific. At the University of Auckland, you'll be studying alongside Maori students, South Pacific Islanders, and other international students - giving Auckland the vibrant diversity that makes it such an exciting learning community.

The two-week semester break and easy access mean that many students spend a week traveling around the South Island and a week snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef in Australia or exploring the gorgeous Pacific Islands.
